At Cornell
Junior (2014):
Eggertson had a solid junior season, playing in 14 games and making eight starts. She was part of a Big Red defensive unit that set a school record, allowing a mere 3.9 penalty corners per contest, while allowing opponents just 8.0 shots per game, the lowest average since the 1983 season (6.7 shots per game). Eggertson also registered her first career point with a goal at Colgate. Following the season, she was named to the 2014 Gladiator by SGI/NFHCA Division I National Academic Squad.

Sophomore (2013): Eggertson saw action in 15 games during her sophomore season, making 12 starts. She was part of a defensive unit that ranked fourth in the conference in goals allowed (2.12) and gave up just 6.1 penalty corners per contest. Following the season, Eggertson was named to the 2013 Gladiator by SGI/NFHCA Division I National Academic Squad.

Freshman (2012): Eggertson had a solid rookie season, playing in 12 games and making six starts. She was part of a defensive unit allowed just 9.8 shots on goal per game and just 8.0 corners per contest. Following the season, Eggertson was named to the 2012 Gladiator by SGI/NFHCA Division I National Academic Squad.

At Collingwood School
Eggertson played four years for the Collingwood School, serving as team captain as a senior, and helping her team to a pair of gold medals and a silver medal at Canada’s high school Provincial Games. She also won a silver medal at the 2011 U16 Canadian Nationals and a bronze medal at the U18 Canadian Nationals , serving as her team’s captain at both events. Eggertson won a championship at the Western Canada Summer Games and was a three-time North Shore All-Star. She also played for the Meralomas Premier field hockey club and won the Dianna Popowich Memorial Rookie Award in 2012.

Personal
Stephanie Erica Eggertson is the daughter of Gunnar and Catherine Eggertson and she has two younger brothers. Her great uncle David Darker graduated from Cornell. She is enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
