At Cornell

Ryan Swingle joined the Big Red coaching staff during the fall of 2021 as an offensive intern. He spent the 2020 season as running backs coach and on-campus recruiting director at Oberlin College.
 

Prior to Cornell

In his only year at Oberlin, Swingle helped the Yeomen navigate through a 2020 season canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. He assisted in the development of the players on and off the field during his time in Oberlin, Ohio.  

He spent a year in the coaching ranks at Elyria HS, beginning his career as the co-Defensive Coordinator and safeties coach before transitioning to Offensive Coordinator and quarterbacks mentor. He was responsible for daily practice planning as well as self scout and game planning. He also spent a year working with the Cleveland Brown as an operations assistant, helping with day-to-day team functions, including team travel and coaching staff needs.

A 2020 graduate of Baldwin Wallace with a degree in sport management, Swingle was a four-year member of the football team as part of the offensive line unit.
