Prior to Cornell

Cote joins the Big Red after spending last season as a volunteer student assistant coach at East Carolina University. Her duties included assisting with various training groups during practice and setup and operation of meet management. Her work helped the 2022-23 Pirates roster achieve 27 lifetime best performances in the pool. She also worked at the 2023 University at Florida Swim Camp and 2023 Florida Gulf Coast University Swim Camp. 

As a student-athlete, Cote swam for four years for St. Bonaventure University (2017-21), becoming a multi-time Atlantic-10 finalist in the Butterfly and Medley Relay, including setting the 200 Medley Relay record at the 2020 A10 Championships. She finished her collegiate career at East Carolina University (2021-22), earning points in both the 100 and 200 Butterfly during the 2022 AAC Championships. Cote was also named to the American Athletic Conference All-Academic Team and maintained a 4.0 GPA during her stint with the Pirates.
