At Cornell

In all, McNamee mentored six AFCA Good Works Team members, as well as more than 70 NFL players. His teams played in three bowl games.

Since joining the Big Red, Cornell improved its win total by three games in its first year and posted its best conference record in six seasons during his second campaign. All the while, players remained visible and vital members of the university community. Student-athletes gave hundreds of service hours and participated in numerous fundraising and awareness-driven campaigns, including registering more than 300 new members to the national bone marrow donor registry as part of the Get In The Game, Save A Life program.
