Freshman Season — 2015
The versatile Criner made eight appearances as a reserve, playing in both the midfield and forward. She had a shot on goal in a Sept. 27 victory at Wagner.

Prior to Cornell
Criner played on both the 95 and 96 teams with Cape Fear SC, helping the 95 white team to a No. 1 ranking in North Carolina en route to a second-place finish after the state cup. At New Hanover HS, she was on the all-area team and Wilmington StarNews all-area team after her senior season, when she served as captain. She was also a three-time all-conference and all-region selection, her class' salutatorian, and served as president of her Key Club and National Honor Society chapters.

Personal
Meredith Rae Criner is the daughter of Sherman Criner and Sandra Alice Ray, and she has one brother and one sister. She is enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences.
