As a sophomore (2020)

• Made one pinch-hit appearance for the Big Red during a shortened season.
• Made the most of her appearance going 1-for-1 at the plate.
• Missed additional time due to injury.
 

As a freshman (2019)

• Hit .256 with a team-best 12 doubles while starting 45 games for the Big Red.
• Also homered twice, driving in eight runs with a team-best 24 runs scored.
• Her .372 on-base percentage ranked second on the team thanks to a team-high 23 walks.
• Had seven multi-hit games, including three-hit contests against Manhattan and Dartmouth.
• Homered against Binghamton and Ithaca College.
• Went 2-for-2 with a double, two walks, an RBI and three runs scored against Dartmouth.
• Perfect in 38 fielding chances primarily in the outfield.
 

Prior to Cornell

• Lawson was a three-time all-conference selection at shortstop at John Champe HS.
• Served as team captain twice.
• Set school records for triples in a game and a season and most runs scored in a game.
• Earned the Coaches Award for Character as a sophomore.
 

Personal

• Miranda Nicole Lawson is the daughter of Troy Lawson and Tracey Archer-Lawson and has a younger sister.
• She is enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
