At Cornell: Macias has the size and athletic ability to be successful on the outside as a receiver, and has also shown to be a capable blocker at the position. He saw his first varsity action as a junior against Harvard and will attempt to earn additional time as a senior. Macias spent his freshman campaign playing quarterback and moved to tight end as a sophomore in an attempt to move up the depth chart. He is enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences.

At High Tech: Macias played several positions, including quarterback, as a three-year starter at North Bergen HS before graduating from High Tech HS. He was a two-time all-area pick, earning the team’s Offensive MVP award as a junior. Macias was a three-year starter in basketball at power forward and was a three-year all-league pick as a first baseman and pitcher in baseball.

Personal: William C. Macias is the son of Guillermo and Maria Macias and has an older brother.
