Blair was a three-year varsity starter at quarterback and two-year team captain at East View HS … compiled 6,348 passing yards and 60 passing touchdowns, along with 1,701 rushing yards and 17 rushing scores in his career … set six school records, including career passing yards, career completions, career passing touchdowns, single-season completions, single-game passing yards, and single-game completions … posted 2,471 passing yards, 24 touchdowns through the air, and 974 rushing yards with 10 rushing touchdowns as a senior … named team MVP three times (2022, 2023, 2024) … earned first-team all-district honors in 2024 … recognized as Academic All-State (2024), Student-Athlete of the Year (2024), and a three-time Academic All-District honoree (2022-24) … a three-sport athlete who also lettered three times in basketball and track and field … two-time Texas regional qualifier in both the long jump and triple jump (2023, 2024) … competed on varsity basketball as a freshman and played three years, primarily as a point guard.

Ty Jackson Blair is the son of David and Laura Senio Blair and has one older brother, Cole, who competes in track and field at Colgate University … comes from a family with deep collegiate athletic ties across football, track and field, tennis, and swimming … his father (Montana State), mother (Whitman), brother (Colgate), and several extended relatives competed at the NCAA level … his grandfather, Ken Blair, was a dual-sport athlete in football and track and field at Colorado State … he is enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences.
