A two-time All-American, he set Cornell[apos]s single season scoring mark with 22 goals and 52 assists for 74 points as a senior, and currently ranks third in that category. He led the Ivy League in scoring two straight years, winning All-Ivy first team honors in 1968 and 1969. In addition, he won All-East first team honors as a junior and senior. During his three years of play, Cornell University compiled an 81-5-1 overall record, an unprecedented three straight NCAA championships. In three years he scored 52 goals and had 95 assists for 148 points. An outstanding scholar-athlete, he was the recipient of the ECAC Merit Medal in 1969, which is awarded to those outstanding students who combine academic and athletic excellence. While attending Cornell[apos]s Graduate School of Business and Public Administration, he coached the freshman hockey team.
