Biography

A crack center in football, he played a key role in the 1939 team[apos]s undefeated season and the 1940 squad[apos]s 6-2 mark. As a catcher, he lettered in baseball in 1939, 1940 and 1941. The [apos]39 team tied for the league championship and won it outright in 1940. He was co-captain of the 1941 baseball team.
