She was a three-year letter winner as a member of the women[apos]s polo team. She played No. 1 as a freshman and sophomore and No. 2 her final season. Captain of the team in 1987, she played on Cornell[apos]s national intercollegiate championship teams of 1985, 1986 and 1987. Hahn scored on a penalty shot with one minute remaining in the second extra period to give the Big Red a 10-9 victory over the University of Virginia at the1987 national intercollegiate championships for Cornell[apos]s fourth consecutive national title. She led all Cornell scorers at the nationals in 1987 en route to earning All-America honors. Dr. Hahn, who earned her bachelor[apos]s degree from Cornell in three years, received her Ph.D. from the University of Florida. She makes her home in Edinburgh, Scotland.
