Biography

In soccer, he was a two-time All-Ivy first-team selection as a back and received All-America honorable mention in 1956. He was the team MVP his senior year. In tennis, he competed at No.1 singles as a junior and senior, compiling an 8-3 record in 1956 and 4-3 in 1957. He competed at No.3 and No.4 singles as a sophomore, going 13-4 on the season. He was a member of the squash team in 1956-57, the first year of varsity status for the sport at Cornell. He captained all three sports his senior year. A graduate of Deerfield Academy, he resided in Greenwich, Conn., as an undergraduate.
