Biography

He won the Eastern Intercollegiate Wrestling Association 150-lb. title in 1974, after placing third at the Easterns as a sophomore, and was runner-up his senior year. Wrestling most of the dual meet seasons at 158 pounds, he compiled a four-year dual meet record of 56-4-2, going 25-1-1 overall and 19-0-1 in dual meets as a junior, and helping the Big Red to the Ivy League co-championship in 1973 and [apos]74. He was a three-time All-Ivy first-team 158-pound pick as was All-Ivy honorable mention in [apos]72. Captain of the 1974-75 squad, he was the team[apos]s MVP in 1974 and [apos]75. An offensive tackle on the lightweight football team, he was named to the Eastern all-star team in 1973, and was elected tri-captain of the [apos]74 squad. He is a native of Watertown, N.Y. and a South Jefferson High graduate.
