He was a three-time All-American as a center forward in soccer, earning first-team honors in 1950, second team in 1948 and honorable mention in 1949. He also received All-New York state and All-Eastern Intercollegiate Soccer League recognition. He set Cornell career records for goals scored (23) and points (46) and season records for goals (12) and points (24). He was captain and chosen as the team[apos]s MVP in 1950. Over his three years with the varsity, Cornell posted an overall record of 16-3-6 and won the EISL championship in 1948 and 1949. The 1948 team was ranked No.3 in the nation.
