Henry Schoellkopf

Biography

He lettered as a fullback on the excellent Cornell football teams in 1900 and 1901. The [apos]00 team went 10-2 and 11-1 in [apos]01. He was named to Walter Camp[apos]s All-America third team his senior year. Schoellkopf was Cornell[apos]s head football coach in 1907 and 1908, compiling a two-year record of 15-3-1, with an 8-2 mark in 1907 and 7-1-1 in 1908. Schoellkopf Memorial Hall, which houses the Cornell football offices and locker room, was built with funds from his friends in 1915 and named in Henry[apos]s memory after his death in 1912.
