Biography

He won All-Ivy first-team honors as a goalkeeper for the men[apos]s soccer team in 1973 and 1974, as Cornell was an NCAA playoff participant both seasons. In addition, he was named to the National Soccer Coaches Association All-America second team and to the All-New York State first team in 1974. He holds season and career records for saves, save percentage and shutouts. During his three-year varsity career, he had 18 shutouts in 35 games played, and allowed 25 goals for a goals against average of 0.7. He served as co-captain and was selected as the Cornell Sun Athlete of the Year as a senior. A former native of Stamford, Conn., he graduated from Exeter Academy.
