In field hockey, she was an All-Ivy first-team selection in 1988 and was second team in 1987. She was co-captain n 1987 and team MVP as a senior. In lacrosse, she was a Brine Northeast Regional All-America first-team selection three straight years. She was named to Brine USWLA Division I All-America second team in 1988 and received honorable mention in 1987. She also received All-Ivy first-team honors in 1987 and 1988, and was honorable mention in 1986. She was an All-New York state second-team selection in 1987 and co-captain her senior year. She ranks among Cornell[apos]s top 10 in career scoring with 84 points on 54 goals and 30 assists. DeLaney won four letters in field hockey and three in lacrosse at Morristown (N.J.) High School and captained both squads her senior year.
