She closed out an outstanding four-year career with the women[apos]s basketball team as the school[apos]s all-time leading rebounder (931) and the second-leading scorer (1,194). She also set career records for field goals made (512) and field goal percentage (.509). She ranked second in career rebounds per game (9.4), and third in career scoring average (12.1) and career 20-point games (16). Froehlich set the season record for field goal percentage (.537 in 1989), ranked second in season rebounds (286 in 1989) and tied for second in season rebounds per game (11.0). She was an All-Ivy first-team selection as a senior, when she led the league in field goal percentage and was second in the league in rebounds. She was an All-Ivy second-team pick in 1986-87. She was captain of the 1988-89 team and after serving as co-captain the previous season. The Northbrook, Ill., native is a graduate of Regina Dominican High School, where she received MVP honors for both her team and league and was named to the Chicago Sun-Times and the Chicago Tribune All-State squads.
