She rowed with the women[apos]s varsity crew from 1984-86, earning letters all three years, and was with the novice crew as a freshman. She served as captain her senior year. She was a member of the U.S. National team which won a silver medal at the World Championships in 1987 and with the U.S. Olympic eight-oared crew in 1988. In 1989, she rowed in the U.S. pairs and in 1990 she rowed with the U.S. pairs and the U.S. eight, winning silver medals in both events at the World Championships. She was named U.S. Rowing[apos]s Female Athlete of the Year in 1990. She is a former resident of Somerville, N.J., and a graduate of Immaculate High School.
