Vince Angotti

Biography

He was a three-time All-American as a midfielder in lacrosse, earning third-team honors in 1989 and 1990 and honorable mention in 1988. He was also a three-time All-Ivy selection, receiving first-team honors as a junior and senior and second-team honors as a sophomore. Voted the team[apos]s most valuable player in 1990, he finished his four-year career with 118 points on 72 goals and 46 assists. Angotti was named to the NCAA all-tournament in 1987, when Cornell finished runner-up to Johns Hopkins in the championship game to go 13-1 on the season. He played professional lacrosse in the Major Indoor Lacrosse League after graduation. A native of Cockeysville, Md., Angotti is a graduate of the McDonogh School, where he was a two-sport captain in basketball and lacrosse and was named first-team All-Baltimore Metro in lacrosse.
