Competed exclusively as a crew for the Big Red … helped the Big Red to a first-place finish out of seven boats at the Women’s Regatta at KP Invite … grabbed another first-place finish out of 12 boats at the New York Maritime Fall Open … aided the Big Red to a second-place finish out of 15 boats at the St. Mary’s Women’s Team Race.

PRIOR TO CORNELL
Was the team MVP of the Greenwich sailing team as a senior captain ... helped the team to its highest ranking in school history with a second-place finish at the 2023 NESSA Girls Championship ... competed for Dale Racing, taking third at the 2022 C420 Junior Olympics ... placed fifth at the 2022 C420 Nationals, the 2022 C420 North Americans and the 2022 CJ Buckley event ... claimed first at 2022 J70 Youth Nationals ... was two-time WNEPSAA All-Star in soccer ... captained the team as a senior, earning team MVP honors and first-team all-league honors.

PERSONAL
Katherine Baily Harned is the daughter of Chris and Elizabeth Harned and has an older sister and two younger brothers ... her sister, Ellie, is on the sailing team at Stanford ... she is enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences.
