2025 | JUNIOR SEASON
First-team All-CSFL selection … excelled at defensive back with 39 tackles, 8.5 TFLs, two pass breakups and two blocked kicks ... posted 10 tackles against both Molloy and Army West Point and notched 3.5 TFLs with two breakups versus Army West Point ... offensively, added 197 rushing yards and two touchdowns on 63 carries while adding six receptions for 20 yards … ran for a career-high 118 yards on 33 carries while adding four receptions for 20 yards in a win at Caldwell … scored rushing touchdowns in back-to-back games against Caldwell and St. Thomas Aquinas.

2024 | SOPHOMORE SEASON
Honorable mention All-CSFL selection … posted 34 total tackles (21 solo, 13 assists) … had two tackles for loss and intercepted a pass … credited with six tackles with one for a loss and an interception in the season-opening win over Molloy … made seven stops in a win at St. Thomas Aquinas.

PRIOR TO CORNELL
Was an all-league selection and a three-year letter winner in football at Ridgefield HS ... served as team captain his senior year ... holds the school record for longest fumble recovery touchdown ... also earned all-league honors in lacrosse ... part of a state championship squad in 2021 ... spent his freshman year at the University of Tennessee where he played club lacrosse ... earned all-tournament team honors at the conference tournament ... ranked in the top 15 nationally in Division I club polls.

PERSONAL
Kruz Carl Meier is the son of Jason '93 and Erica '93 Meier and has a brother and two sisters ... his father played sprint football at Cornell ... his cousins Charley (Harvard), Kennedy (Michigan) and Matty (San Diego State)Meier  all play women's lacrosse in college ... another cousin, Lillie Widner, is a cross country runner at Rutgers ... he is enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
