As a Senior (2012-13)
After missing all of his junior year with an injury, Trofa returned at the start of the 2012 season with a terrific run in the Army-Binghamton meet. He placed second overall in that meet, completing the eight-kilometer course in 24:16.90. Trofa then placed fifth at the Yellowjacket Invitational, his last run of the year.

On the track, Trofa ran in four races for the Big Red, competing at the Outdoor IC4As in the 10K to end his Cornell career. He placed 13th in 31:13.22.

As a Junior (2011-12)
Trofa missed the 2011 cross country season with a leg injury.

As a Sophomore (2010-11)
After a disappointing cross country season the following year, Trofa returned to the track, setting personal records in the mile (4:23.72), 5K (14:54.20), and qualifying for the IC4A championships in the 10K with a time of 30:36.09.

As a Freshman (2009-10)
Trofa's college career started strong, with him making the Heps squad in his first cross country season on Cornell's team.

Before Cornell
Trofa earned all-state and all-New England honors in cross country as both a junior and a senior, while also competing in indoor and outdoor track and field.

Personal
Adam Michael Trofa is the son of Michaelangelo and Denise Trofa and has an older sister. He is enrolled in the College of Engineering.
