Alex Clapacs' up-to-date results

As a Senior (2017-18)
• Competed at the Greg Page Relays during track season, helping his DMR team to second (10:36.74).
• Did not compete in any cross country meets.

As a Junior (2016-17)
• Competed in one cross country race as a junior, finishing 109th at the Spiked Shoe Invitational.
• Did not compete in any meets during indoor or outdoor track.

As a Sophomore (2015-16)
• Placed 22nd at the John Reif Memorial Run.

As a Freshman (2014-15)
• Finished first on the 5K course at the John Reif Memorial Run in a blistering 16:19.40 as a cross country freshman.
• On the track, competed primarily in the 800 his freshman year, with his highest finishes coming at the Indoor and Outdoor Upstate Challenges when he placed fourth in in 1:55.43 and 1:58.40, respectively.
• Fastest 800 time of the season was 1:53.35 at the indoor SPIRE Invitational.
• Was also a member of the winning 4x880-yard relay team at the indoor Beantown Challenge.  

Before Cornell
• Clapacs was a standout hockey player, before transitioning to track his senior year.
• He took home 1st place in the 800 at the Outdoor Ohio State Championships.
• He also played a pivotal role in Gilmour capturing 1st place in both the 4x4 and 4x8 relays at the state championships.
