Won the 2025 District 1 cross country championship… earned All-State honors in 2023 and 2025… ranks No. 10 all-time in Pennsylvania in the 5K cross country… served as a two-year co-captain from 2024-25… won the 2026 Pennsylvania State Indoor 3,000-meter and Outdoor 3,200-meter championships… three-time All-American in the indoor 5,000-meter, indoor distance medley relay and outdoor 5,000-meter… ranks No. 2 all-time in Pennsylvania in the indoor 5,000-meter, No. 6 in the indoor 3,000-meter and No. 9 in the outdoor 3,200-meter… served as a three-year co-captain from 2024-26… national medalist and 12-time state medalist in Science Olympiad.

Alex Mazzeo is the son of Kirstin and Anthony Mazzeo… has one brother, Nicholas, who will compete in cross country and track at Penn… played first trombone with the Lower Merion Wind Ensemble/Symphony Orchestra… founded Tech Support for residents at The Residence at Bala Cynwyd… worked as a student research assistant at the Center for Transplant Science and Innovation at Penn Medicine in summer 2025… he is enrolled in the College of Engineering.
