As a Senior (2017-18)
• Scored at the Outdoor Heps, taking sixth in the 10k in (30:27.43) and also competed in the 5000 (14:58.56).
• At Indoor Heps, was 16th in the 5000 (14:57.53).
• 10k champion at the IC4A Outdoor Championships (30:11.32).
• Tallied other wins in the 3000 (8:31.16) at the Deneault Memorial Invitational and the 4x800 (7:54.87) at the Southern Tier Collegiate Open.
• Recorded six top-10 finishes on the year.
• Earned a new personal record in the 5000 (14:27.78) at the Penn Relays.
• Had a stellar final cross country season, serving as a top five scorer in three meets.
• Was sixth overall and third for Cornell in the quad meet with Columbia, Brown and NYU while placing 164th at the Paul Short Run.
• Was the runner-up at the Reif Memorial Run before crossing the line fourth for the team and 37th overall at the Ivy League Heptagonal Championships.
• At the NCAA Northeast Regional, was 53rd as the number three runner for the squad.
As a Junior (2016-17)
• Ran in three cross country races for the Big Red during his junior campaign, placing 18th at the Spiked Shoe Invitational, 81st at the Penn State National Open and then 58th at the Ivy League Heptagonal Cross Country Championships.
As a Sophomore (2015-16)
• Ran in two cross country races as a sophomore, picking up a season-best 16th-place finish at the Brother Jasper Invitational.
• On the track, posted a number of top-10 finishes in the distance events, placing third in the 5K at the Marc Deneault Invitational indoors.
• Outdoors, was third in the 5K at the Big Red Invitational.
• Qualified for outdoor IC4A Championships in the 10K, placing eighth.
As a Freshman (2014-15)
• In the Harry Anderson Invitational, placed third overall on the 8K course, finishing in 25:46.0 and helping the team take second place.
• At the John Reif Memorial Run, hosted by Cornell, placed sixth in the 5-mile race with a time of 25:37.8.
Before Cornell
• Chauvin competed in the distance races during his career at Corning High School.
• He took home 5th place in the 3200 at the New York State Outdoor Championships.
• He looks to bolster the Big Red in the distance events, while also participating on the cross-country squad.
