2023 | JUNIOR SEASON
Placed 20th in the 8k at the 2023 Yellowjacket XC Championship (26:10.7) … set a personal best in the 8k with a 25:25.3-minute run at the IC4A/ECAC XC Championship.
2022 I SOPHOMORE SEASON
Did not compete.
2021 I FRESHMAN SEASON
Competed in two events… started his Big Red career with a 26:51.8 clocking at the Yellowjacket Invitational where he came in 36th place… dropped three-hundredths of a second to improve on his 8K mark at the Paul Short open race where he ran a 26:51.8.
PRIOR TO CORNELL
Named Maine State Champion in 2021 in both the 1600 and 3200 in track and field… earned the title Maine Boys Track and Field Gatorade Player of the Year in 2021… captained his cross-country team senior year on his way to being named the the All-State team.
PERSONAL
Tyler William Patterson is the son of Cornell grads Cindy and Bill Patterson… Has two brothers, Luke and Ethan… he is enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences… class salutatorian.
