Competed in one race... placed 7th at the John Reif Memorial on Cornell's home course with a time of 15:59.4.

2024 | JUNIOR YEAR
Competed in five races for the Big Red highlighted by setting a personal best in the 8k at the Ivy League Heptagonal Cross Country Championships with a time of 24:44.7, placing 57th... also placed 16th at the Harry F. Anderson Invitational with a time of 25:13.8.

2023 | SOPHOMORE SEASON
Set a personal best with a 20:26.7-minute 6k at the Harry Lang Invitational … placed 18th in the 8k at the IC4A/ECAC XC Championship, setting a personal best (25:55.4) … ran a 15:43.8. minute 15th place 5k in the John Reif Memorial Run.

2022 I FRESHMAN SEASON
Placed 26th in the 6.4k with a 21:35.6 minute run at the Harry Lang Invitational… finished 20th in the 4.97M with a 27:44.2 minute run at the Fordham Fiasco… set a personal best in the 8k with a 58th place 26:10.8 minute run at the LHU XC Invitational/ Open… recorded a PR in the 5k with an 18th place 16:26.7 minute run at the John Reif Invitational.

PRIOR TO CORNELL
Two-year team captain on XC and T/F… First Team All-NY Cross Country in 2021… Nike Cross Regionals First Team in 2021… Section 6 Senior of the Year 2021… Two-time Section 6 Cross Country Champion… 2021 All-NY Sportsmanship Award… Four-time Nike & New Balance Nationals runner… 2022 All-NY Sportsmanship Award, school record holder in indoor 3200m, outdoor 3000m steeplechase, and outdoor 4x1600m relay.

Zachary Nelson Winnicki is the son of Jason and Tricia Winnicki… has two sisters… she is enrolled in the College of Human Ecology.
