All-Ivy League Second Team (2018, 2019)

As a senior (2018-19)

• Recorded career-best individual of sixth at at season-ending Ivy League Championship to garner a spot on All-Ivy League second team for second straight year.
• Led team with 73.83 (plus-2.7) scoring average.
• Medalist at UConn Invitational at GreatHorse, shooting 72-76-70–218 from Oct. 7-9.
• Had three total top-10 finishes, including eighth-place finish at the Quechee Club Collegiate Challenge from Sept. 22-23.
• Competed in all nine of season's events, with 21 of 24 rounds counting toward team score.
• Carded career-best 5-under-par 66 in first round of Cornell Invitational on Sept. 15.
• Had six of team's 13 under-par rounds.
 

As a junior (2017-18)

• Finished eighth at season-ending Ivy League Championship to earn place on All-Ivy League second team.
• Competed in all eight tournaments with 74.95 (plus-4.4) scoring average and three top-10 finishes.
• Broke 80 in 16 of final 17 rounds, including 1-under-par 71s in first round of Quechee Club Collegiate Challenge and final round of Connecticut Cup.
 

As a sophomore (2016-17)

• Competed in all of team's 21 competitive rounds with two rounds under par
• Posted team's fourth-best scoring average at 76.00 (plus-4.5).
• Best finish was tie for seventh at Quechee Club Collegiate Challenge, buoyed by 2-under 70 in first round.
• Finished 26th or better in each of Big Red's four fall tournaments.
• Powered by second-round 72, finished 18th individually at Ivy League Championship.
 

As a freshman (2015-16)

• Finished third in team scoring with average of 76.24 strokes over 17 of team's 19 rounds.
• Making collegiate debut and competing individually, finished ninth at Colgate Invitational.
• Season's best round was 2-under-par 70 in first round of Cornell Spring South Florida Invitational, helping lead to fifth-place individual finish.
• Finished 27th at Ivy League Championship.
 

Prior to Cornell

• Named St. Stephen's Episcopal School's most valuable player three times, serving as co-captain for junior and senior years.
• Finished 10th individually at Florida state tournament in 2012, then improved to tie for sixth in 2014 while helping team to fifth-place finish.
• Earned 2014 HP Scholastic Honor Roll recognition,
• Member of National Honor Society and National Art Honors Society.

• Tianyi Cen is the son of Kai Cen and Wen Yu.
• Enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
