Biography
As a freshman (2018-19)
• Competed individually in three events — the Cornell Invitational, the BCD Invitational at PGA National and Princeton Invitational.
• Carded first collegiate under-par round in final day of Princeton Invitational, shooting 1-under-par 70.
• Recorded scoring average of 77.14 (plus-6.0).
Prior to Cornell
• Competed for four years from the top position with Stuyvesant HS.
• Helped team win Public Schools Athletic League titles in 2015 and 2016, then captured individual championship in 2017.
• 2018 Mayors Cup champion and Wingate Award Winner.
• National Merit Scholar semifinalist.
Personal
• Christopher William Chan is the son of Michael Chan and Margaret Ng, and he has one sister.
• Both parents are Cornell graduates.
• Enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
