Competed in one tournament, playing two rounds with a 77.0 stroke average... recorded rounds of 76-78 at the Binghamton Invitational for a T68 finish... served in a limited role during the season... competed as an individual at the Binghamton Invitational... provided veteran presence for the team throughout the season.

2023-24 | JUNIOR SEASON
Averaged second-best 74.86 over seven rounds ... posted three rounds at or below par, headlined by a 70 during the second round of the Cornell Fall Invitational at Watchung Valley Golf Club ... had two top 20 finishes with share of 17th at season-opening Alex Lagowitz Invite (78-72-71-221) and team-best 15th showing at fall invite in New Jersey (72-70-145). 

2022-23 I SOPHOMORE SEASON
Averaged a 76.88 over eight rounds ... posted a low round of 74 ... was a top 50 finisher at the Columbia Autumn Invitational (77-74-79) with a three-round total of 230.

2021-22 I FRESHMAN SEASON
Posted a 79.00 scoring average while competing in four rounds over two tournaments ... finished 54th overall at the Cornell Invitational with a season-low 74 in the first round ... also competed at the Matthews Auto Collegiate, finishing 80th individually with a low of 78 at Hiawatha Landing.

PRIOR TO CORNELL
Earned first-team All-Ivy Prep League honors all five years competing with Riverside Country School ... posted team's lowest scoring average in all five seasons with team ... also competed on school's swimming team for three years.

PERSONAL
Matthew David Simon is the son of Kurt and Katherine Simon, and he has one brother and one sister ... his Uncle, Chris Simon, was an All-American hockey player at Bowdoin ... enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences.
