Prior to Cornell
• Competed for five seasons at Saint George's School, twice helping team finish in third at state championship (2018, 2019).
• Ranked in top 20 within Washington state for Under-19 age group (2019).
• Appeared in two AJGA tournaments (2019).
• Two-year member of Washington Junior Golf Association (2018, 2019).
• Member of Junior Golf Arizona (2019).
• Was also nationally competitive in gymnastics, competing in the all-around for 10 years.
• Served as student body president at Saint George's School.
Personal
• Michael Patrick McCarthy is the son of John and Diane McCarthy.
• Enrolled in the School of Hotel Administration.
