As a freshman (2016-17)
• Got experience as a member of the fifth varsity eight during his rookie season.

Prior to Cornell
• Rowed for four years with La Salle College High School, serving as team captain during his senior season.
• In 2016, his varsity eight crew won the Philadelphia Catholic League Championship, placed second at the Philadelphia City Championship, and earned a bronze medal at the USRowing Mid-Atlantic Championships.
• As the stroke of the lightweight eight, Foley won the 2015 USRowing Mid-Atlantic Youth Championships and took a bronze medal at the SRAA Nationals.
• His crew also placed second in the Philadelphia Catholic League, the Philadelphia City Championship, and the Stotesbury Cup Regatta that same season.
• Rowed in the junior varsity eight in 2014 and won a Philadelphia Catholic League Championship before taking bronze at the Philadelphia City Championship.
• As a member of the Fairmount Rowing Association, Foley rowed with the men’s youth eight that won the 2015 Philadelphia Youth Regatta Championship and took fourth at the 2015 Canadian Henley.
 
Personal
• Braeden Patrick Foley is the son of Michael and Michele Foley and he has an older brother and sister.
• Enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
