Biography
At Cornell
As a junior, Schultz helped the Big Red earn its second consecutive Jope Cup by rowing in the second varsity eight that won a silver medal at the 2015 EARC Sprints. Schultz moved into the second varsity eight boat during his sophomore season and earned a bronze medal at the 2014 Eastern Sprints, helping the Big Red to earn its first Jope Cup since 2008. As a freshman, Schultz stroked the first freshman eight that won the silver medal at the 2013 EARC Sprints, before going on to stroke the varsity four that took the bronze medal at the 2013 IRA Regatta.
Prior to Cornell
Schultz lettered three times at Westfield high school, serving as captain his senior year and leading the crew to a runner-up finish for the 2011 Virginia state title. He also lettered once in cross country.
Personal
Cameron John Schultz is the son of Bradley Schultz and Johanna Mauro and he has two younger sisters. He is enrolled in the College of Engineering.
