Joined program as a walk-on between fall and spring season ... appeared in two races during spring season ... first appearance came as stroke of 1V4+ in unopposed time trial at Baggaley Bowl (April 26) ... sat in No. 3 seat of 4V8+ at Eastern Sprints Championship (May 18).

Two-year member of Phillips Academy Andover boys rowing team and was midfielder on boys lacrosse team.

Charles Paul Irwin is the son of Douglas and Jennifer Irwin, and has a younger sister ... enrolled in the Charles H. Dyson School of Applied Economics and Management.
