At Cornell
David Tigerman ’21 joined the Cornell lightweight rowing staff in January 2022 as an interim assistant coach.
Prior to Cornell
Tigerman spent the fall of his senior year coaching part-time at the Steel City Rowing Club as part of the Masters group. He obtained his USRowing Level I coaching certification.
Rowing Career
A 2021 graduate of Cornell University, Tigerman rowed in the varsity eight boat that won the 2019 IRA national championship. That boat was named the 2019 Lightweight Crew of the Year. A member of the Academic All-Ivy League team in the spring of 2021, Tigerman was a member of the Red Key Athlete Honor Society and part of the Big Red Leadership Institute group. Following graduation, Tigerman worked at BNY Mellon as a Global Securities Operations Analyst before returning to the rowing community as an assistant coach at his alma mater.
