Biography
• Academic All-Ivy (2020)
• IRA National Champion with the lightweight eight (2019)
• Member of the IRA Lightweight Crew of the Year (2019)

As a senior (2019-20)
• Earned Academic All-Ivy accolades.
• Part of the lightweight varsity eight that earned bronze at the 55th Head of the Charles Regatta, crossing the finish line in 14:13.256.
• Helped the lightweight varsity eight secure a second place finish in Flight 1 at the Princeton Chase, posting a time of 13:14.933.
• Spring 2020 season canceled due to COVID-19.
As a junior (2018-19)
• Was the stroke for the varsity eight during his junior campaign.
• Guided the Big Red to its eighth IRA National Championship, and the team’s fourth national championship in the last six seasons.
• Member of the varsity eight boat that was named the 2019 IRA Lightweight Crew of the Year.
• Rowed in the varsity eight at the EARC Sprints.
• Led Cornell to its 25th Matthews Trophy.
• Helped the Big Red win the Geiger Cup, Platt Cup, and Harriet Trophy.
As a sophomore (2017-18)
• Rowed in the second varsity eight for the majority of his sophomore season before moving into the varsity eight for IRAs.
• Won a silver medal in the second varsity eight at Eastern Sprints.
• Helped the second varsity eight to wins over MIT, and Dartmouth.
• Stroked the third varsity eight that defeated Princeton.
• Was in the varsity eight that took second in the Petite Finals at IRAs.
As a freshman (2016-17)
• Joined the team as a walk-on.
• Did not row due to injury.
Prior to Cornell
• Two-year letter winner at Greenwich High School.
• At Youth Nationals, Lee took sixth in the lightweight double in 2016 and 18th in the lightweight eight in 2015.
• Also played lacrosse and soccer in high school.
• Was a member of the National Honor Society and on the High Honor Roll at Greenwich.
Personal
• Eric Granger Lee is the son of Douglas and Marianne Lee and has three brothers.
• His grandfather, Charles Lee ’62, played football at Cornell.
• Enrolled in the SC Johnson College of Business.
