2018-19 Men's Rowing - Lightweight Roster
Biography
As a senior (2018-19)
• Rowed on the fourth varsity eight during his senior year.
• Helped the fourth varsity eight advance to the Grand Finals of the EARC Sprints, placing fifth overall.
• Competed on one of two Cornell varsity four boats against Dartmouth.
As a junior (2017-18)
• Rowed in the fourth varsity eight during his junior season.
• Helped the crew to a seventh place finish at Eastern Sprints.
As a sophomore (2016-17)
• Member of the fourth varsity eight, fifth varsity eight, and varsity four B throughout his sophomore season.
• Helped the fourth varsity eight take bronze in the Grand Final at the 2017 EARC Sprints.
• Rowed for the varsity four B against Columbia and MIT, barely taking second behind the Big Red’s varsity four.
As a freshman (2015-16)
• Rowed in the varsity four that helped Cornell earn the Leonard Cup with a win over Penn and Harvard, as well as rowing in the sixth varsity eight vs. Columbia and MIT.
Prior to Cornell
• Spent four years with Utah Crew, helping the crew to the top all-time team performance at the 2015 Southwest Youth Rowing Championships.
Personal
• Harrison James Unruh is the son of Jeff and Polly Unruh and he has one older brother.
• Enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences.
