Sophomore (2015-16): Snyder did not compete during his sophomore season.

Prior To Cornell
Snyder has rowed for six years as a member of GMS Rowing Center, winning bronze in the men's heavyweight pair at the 2013 USRowing Youth National Championships. He was also selected to represent the United States in the quad and the double at the 2012 CanAmMex Regatta, winning silver and bronze, respectively. That same season, he finished ninth in the men’s lightweight double at the2012 USRowing Youth National Championships. Snyder was also invited to attend the 2013 US Junior National Team High Performance Camp.

Jacob Thomas Snyder is the son of Mark Snyder and Diane Samples and he has one younger brother. He is enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
