At Cornell
Noyes rowed as a member of the freshmen eight during his rookie season. He helped the crew to a fourth place finish at the 2012 EARC Sprints. During the regular season, the freshmen eight earned victories over Penn, MIT, Columbia and Dartmouth.

Prior to Cornell
Noyes lettered three times in towing at New Tier HS, serving as team captain during his senior season. His crew took second at the 2009 Head of the Charles in the junior men’s eight+. Noyes also dove for one year at New Tier.

Personal
John Bauerle Noyes is the son of Nicholas and Susan Noyes and he has three brothers and two sisters. His brother Nicholas, his father, his grandfather, his great-grandfather and his great-great-grandfather all graduated from Cornell. Noyes is enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
