2024-25 | SENIOR SEASON
Appeared in all seven spring races, splitting time as coxswain of 2V8+ and 3V8+ crews ... coxed 2V8+ to a first-place finish at Platt Cup (April 12) before moving to 3V8+, where it placed first at Baggaley Bowl (April 26) and Geiger Cup (May 3) ... served as coxswain of 1V4+ at Head of the Charles (Oct. 20).
2023-24 | JUNIOR SEASON
Served as coxswain of 3V8+ crew that finished season with undefeated record ... placed first at Matthews/Leonard Cup (April 6), Platt Cup (April 13), Geiger Cup (April 20), and Eastern Sprints Championship (May 19) ... coxed 2V4+ at Head of the Charles (Oct. 22) and also was coxswain of 3V8+ and 1V8+ crews at Princeton Chase (Nov. 5).
PRIOR TO CORNELL
Scholastic bronze in U17 Women's 8+ at 2021 New York State Invitational Regatta ... bronze in Women's Lightweight 4+ at 2019 Head of the Fish Regatta ... competed in Men’s Youth 4+ at 2019 Head of the Charles Regatta ... also played tennis for three years in high school, serving as JV captain in 2018.
PERSONAL
Joycelyn Duyen Vu is the daughter of Tiffany and Tuyen Vu, and has an older sister, Jennifer, who was coxswain for Stanford women's lightweight rowing program from 2017-21 ... enrolled in the College of Human Ecology.
