Biography

At Cornell
Falb was a two-year letter winner for the Big Red as coxswain of back-to-back undefeated national championship varsity eight crews. She was named first-team All-Ivy twice during her career as the varsity eight won back-to-back Jope Cups and consecutive Ivy League Championships for the first time in over 50 years. The Big Red varsity eight was also named both the EARC and IRA Lightweight Crew of the Year both seasons and she helped Cornell to consecutive semifinal finishes in the Temple Challenge Cup at the Henley Royal Regatta. As a sophomore, Falb coxed the third varsity eight that won the silver medal at the 2013 EARC Sprints. Falb served as coxswain of the freshmen eight during her rookie season. She helped the crew to a fourth place finish at the 2012 EARC Sprints.

Prior to Cornell
Falb lettered five times in rowing at Buckingham, Browne and Nichols School. As a member of the Community Rowing, Inc. club, she won silver medals as the coxswain in both youth men's heavyweight eight+ and youth men's lightweight eight+. She also competed at the Head of the Charles in 2008, 2009, and 2010.

Personal
Katherine Marie Falb is the daughter of Dean and Nancy Falb and has an older brother, Michael '14, who currently attends Cornell, a younger brother, and two younger sisters. She is enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences.
