Biography
At Cornell
As a junior (2016-17)
• Was the coxswain for the second varsity eight throughout her junior season.
• Coxed the crew to victory over Columbia and MIT.
• Also helped the second varsity eight defeat Dartmouth.
• Coxed the varsity four at the IRA National Championships, taking fourth place in the Grand Final.
As a sophomore (2015-16)
• Coxed the third varsity eight that took the silver medal at the 2016 Eastern Sprints.
• Helped the crew earn the Leonard Cup with a win over Penn and Harvard, as well as posting victories over Yale, Columbia, MIT, and Dartmouth.
• Coxed the varsity 4+ that took third in the Petite Final, good for eighth overall at the IRA National Championship.
• Following the season, Ordonez coxed the Cornell lightweight eight that won its qualifying round to earn a spot in the Temple Challenge Cup at the 177th edition of the Henley Royal Regatta.
As a freshman (2014-15)
• In her first season with the Big Red, Ordonez won a silver medal coxing the fifth varsity eight race at the 2015 EARC Sprints.
