Biography
At Cornell
Black will serve as team captain for the 2012-13 season. He rowed as a member of the second varsity eight during his junior campaign, helping the crew to win a silver medal at the 2012 EARC Sprints. During the regular season, the second varsity eight earned victories over Harvard, Penn, Princeton, Columbia and Dartmouth. Black won a gold medal at 2010 Eastern Sprints as a member of the Big Red’s freshman eight crew.
At Brunswick School
Black rowed for four years at the Brunswick School. As a senior, he served as team captain and was the stroke of the varsity boat.
Personal
Taylor Davis Black is the son of Steve and Deborah Black and he has one older brother and one older sister. He is enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences.
