Biography
At Cornell
As a junior, Nebel rowed in the third varsity eight that won the silver medal at the 2013 EARC Sprints. He rowed as a member of the third varsity eight during his sophomore season, helping the crew to win a gold medal at the 2012 EARC Sprints. During the regular season, the third varsity eight earned victories over Harvard, Penn, Princeton, Yale and Dartmouth.
Prior to Cornell
Nebel earned three varsity letters at the Peddie School. He was given the team’s Outstanding Rower award.
Personal
William Tyler Nebel is the son of Reynold and Lynn Nebel and he has two older brothers, including Reynold, who rowed heavyweight crew at Trinity College from 2002-06. Nebel is enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
