At Cornell
Vieira started in each of the 16 games he appeared in as a senior, helping the Big Red to the UK Nike Soccer Classic Tournament title to open the season. He was named to the all-tournament team for his play in the first two games of the year. Vieira also was named to the ESPN The Magazine/CoSIDA Academic All-District I First Team. Vieira closed out his Cornell career by collecting assists in each of the final three games of the year, the first three assists of his career. Vieira had his season sidetracked by injury during his junior year, but was still able to make 10 appearances and five starts for the Big Red. He tallied his first career goal in the season’s final game against Dartmouth on Nov. 4, scoring in the second overtime to lift the Big Red into a fourth-place tie in the Ivy Leauge. He started in 13 of 15 games as a sophomore, and made a solid debut as a freshman in 2004, playing in 13 contests and starting eight of them.  

At St. Augustine SS
Vieira played four years at St. Augustine SS and helped his team to the regional semifinals three times, including one trip to the finals in 2001. He was a team captain during his sophomore and senior seasons, and he capped his final year by leading his team in scoring. He also captained his club team, the Woodbridge Strikers, to the bronze medal at the 2001 national championships in addition to earning the Ontario provincial championship four times.

Personal
Aaron Louis Vieira is the son of Louis and Maria Vieira. He is enrolled in Cornell’s College of Arts and Sciences and has an older sister.
