Senior Season - 2010
Hardie proved to be a versatile player in his final year with the Big Red, appearing in eight contests and starting five of those. He saw playing time both up front and along the back line, picking up four shots during the loss to Brown on Oct. 23. With Ben Kenyon out due to injury for the final three games of the season, he stepped into the starting lineup along the back line.
Junior Season - 2009
Hardie provided additional depth for the Big Red defense as a junior, appearing in 10 contests and starting five of those. He started in the season opener against Syracuse and then got the start on Oct. 20 against Lafayette. Hardie then started each of the final three Ivy League contests against Princeton, Dartmouth and Columbia, helping the Big Red to a 1-1-1 mark in those games.
Sophomore Season - 2008
Hardie appeared in nine games, including making his first career start on Nov. 8 against Dartmouth at Berman Field. Hardie made his collegiate debut in the season opener on Sept. 5 at California.
Freshman Season - 2007
Hardie did not appear in any contests for the Big Red as a freshman.
At Lansing HS
Hardie, who played his club soccer for TC United under former Cornell goalkeeper coach Ziggy Zigante, was a third-team small school all-state selection following his junior and senior seasons at Lansing HS. He was the team’s top defender and team captain. He was a member of the team that won the gold medal at the Empire State Games in 2006.
Personal
Adam Hardie is the son of Skip and Holly Hardie, and he has two brothers and a sister. He is a student in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
