Before Cornell
A three-year letter-winner and starter at Evanston Township, Masters was named the team’s captain and earned All-State and All-Midwest honors as a senior. He also finished his final year with the team third all-time in single-season shutouts in Illinois, posting 21 on the year. With Masters in net, Evanston Township earned the No. 1 overall seed in sectionals for three straight years. Masters was also a four-year captain of his club team, Team Evanston/Eleven United, and helped lead the team to the State Cup semifinals in 2014.
 
Personal
Adam Jacob Pence Masters is the son of Douglas Masters and Jane Pence. He has an older sister, Julia. His father, Douglas, is a member of the Cornell Class of 1985. Adam is enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences.
