Biography

At Cornell
Scruton enters his senior season as the most experienced player on the Cornell roster, having appeared in 44 total games. He has started 27 of those games, including 14 of 15 games last season. As a junior, Scruton dished out three assists, matching his assist total from 2004. He will be asked to lead the Big Red attack, threatening the opposing goal as well as setting up teammates. Scruton recorded assists in wins over Hartford and Penn last season.

At Manlius Pebble Hill
Scruton was a three-time selection to the all-state first team and led Manlius Pebble Hill School to the state championship in 2000 and 2001. He was named the CNY player of the year in 2002 and was the captain of the N.Y. West Olympic Development Program team for four years. Scruton was a member of the Region 1 ODP squad for two seasons and helped his club team to the regional championship.

Personal
Brian H. Scruton is the son of Kent and Irene Scruton and is enrolled in Cornell[apos]s College of Human Ecology. He has two older brothers.
