Coach Scales on Jonas
"Bryan is still learning the ropes and gaining experience going into his sophomore year. He is coming off an injury he suffered this spring and looks to challenge for a starting job this fall."

At Cornell
Jonas appeared in one contest in 2002 and enters this season ready to become a contributor to the Big Red midfield.

At Syosset
A team captain at Syosset HS, Jonas earned all-league and all-county honors and received all-state honorable mention. He was also team MVP and captain for RVC Noga, a club team which won the Region 1 league championship in 2001 and earned two trips to the State Cup finals. Jonas also was a member of the Eastern N.Y. Olympic Development Program.

Bryan I. Jonas is the son of Steven and Holly Jonas. He has an older sister. He is enrolled in Cornell's School of Hotel Administration. Born: 11-17-83.
